Lake water safe for recreation

Algae from Lake Sylvia was tested by the King County at the Washington State Toxic Algae Testing facility. State Parks received results on Aug. 23 that the algae tested negative for toxic algae, including cyanobacteria, which is fatal to dogs.

The lake is considered safe for recreation activities.
