Enjoy a festival, join a fun run, tour an interpretive site, or just make your own celebration with a family picnic or camping trip. Choose from dozens of activities and events throughout the year. You can submit your state park event via email to get it placed on the calendar. The Discover Pass is required for vehicle access to Washington state parks and state-managed recreation lands. Junior Ranger program - A tree says what?

Did you know trees talk to each other? Join a park ranger and a naturalist from Sound Water Stewards and learn about Whidbey Island’s trees and how they talk to each other. This event is free, and it is suggested for ages 5-12. At least one adult must attend. More details available upon registration.
