You can submit your state park event via email to get it placed on the calendar. The Discover Pass is required for vehicle access to Washington state parks and state-managed recreation lands.     Join family, friends and neighbors to get in shape for Bloomsday! Whether you plan to walk, jog or run Bloomsday, these free clinics will provide you with a medically-sound, gradual conditioning and training program.

    Expect some walking, jogging or running on the Spokane Falls Community College campus during the first three weeks of training. During weeks four through seven, the course will take you along the Spokane River and onto Centennial Trail.

    Deception Pass State Park Foundation will be hosting the first annual Keepin' It Reel Trout Derby at Deception Pass State Park. Join us in a fun new recreational tradition at the park! This event will be capped at 200 participants, so get your tickets soon. Proceeds from this event are used for educational programming at Deception Pass State Park Foundation.

    What better way to celebrate spring, the premier season of flowers, than by capturing it’s bounty in a piece of art. With gorgeous forms and colors ranging from vibrant to subtle there is enough inspiration on display for dozens of artworks, whether representational or abstract. This class is open to all levels of artists working in whatever medium is calling you these days. Floral art created by artists in the past will be considered. We’ll be working from still life arrangements and photos. Weather permitting we will try to get outside to work from nature during one session. Bring your art kits and creative freedom.

    Join this 2-day workshop where we will learn to how to paint a floral painting using photo references. Please feel free to bring photo references of flowers that you may want to potentially paint. If you don't have photos, no worries, I will bring plenty of references that you can use.
